Consortium's Fall: Echoes of Xo'lara is a sci-fi roguelite twin-stick shooter about a lone hero’s fight against his people’s oppressor. It was a voluntary collaboration project with a cross-disciplinary team, where my focus was on designing user interfaces (UI) with a strong focus on creating sci-fic stylized intuitive UI elements.

I had a ton of fun learning and making my first game with these very talented people! I enjoyed all the learning and creative sessions we had as a team to bring this game to life. It was such a fun hands-on experience to work cross-disciplinary and collaborate with different backgrounds and focuses. While this is not a game style that I would normally play, learning to bring this style of a game to life was not only a fun challenge, but also pushes me to consider the fast-paced idea of fun for players.
