This game was born out of a group of friends wanting a stress-free GameJam project, and evovled into a work-in-progress game made with passion and cozy evenings.
Timeframe:
April 2025 - present
Metting roughly once a month for 1 or 2 days.
Team:
One of my main focus was maintaining documentation so that everything discussed would be recorded. This was a significant aspect of the project as we work on this project very sparsely and often have months in between our last discussion about decisions and direction of the game design.
Documentation Overview
Utilizing ClickUp, I have organized and structured all the documentation as well as planning (roadmap) in one shared space.
Game Concept Pitch
A documentation of the game concept
Product Vision Board
Having a product vision helped to motivate and align with the rest of the team of what we wanted the game to be focused on.
Gameloop Simplified
A simplified version of the gameloop of the game. Having it visually helped everyone on the team to get the overall picture, and able to break down specific area of focus.
This was my first time designing a game level so during the creation of the first level, it was a collaborative where I was able to incorporated the tutorial that I have designed
UI designs is a work-in-progress to get a feel for the design direction of the game.
This project has been a fun yet challenging experience as I get a chance to try different roles than just being a UI/UX designer. I found that I really enjoyed having structured and detailed documentations, especailly as they have been super helpful in refreshing everyone involved on our joint decisions and discussions. It also was wonderful to be able to have everything tracked in one place and made it easier to have an overview on what had been worked on and what to work on next. It has also been a great project to build upon my skills and be open to do things outside of my comfort zone.
